This year I ventured to sunny Mexico for relaxation, a bit of adventure, and a cocktail or two! I love having massage so holiday is always a great excuse to treat myself. Usually I visit the hotels spa but this year whilst out and about I was offered a massage by a Mexican lady in the town Playa Carn.

Two massages were just $37 compared to the hotels cost of $87 each! Amazed at the price but with a hint of apprehension I followed the speedy little local to the treatment room. The room was well presented and even more importantly the massages were amazing, a full hour and with great pressure and technique.

It was definitely worth a little bit of bravey and I  can’t say I missed the scented candles, heated towels or massive room bill.  An experience to try again.
